Food: White Chocolate Rice Crispie Cakes
The littlies enjoy a snack in the afternoons and while these aren't the healthiest I like that they are gluten-free. Everything in moderation, I say! The only problem is stopping myself from munching my way through these before they get to them! Great for a kids party too.
Ingredients:
50g butter
100g white chocolate chips
3 tablespoons golden syrup
100g rice crispies
12 fairy cake cases
sprinkles of your choice
Method:
1. Melt the butter and chocolate in the microwave oven, stirring every 30 seconds to prevent heat spots.
2. Add the golden syrup.
3. Allow to cool slightly.
4. Add the rice crispies.
5. Place a tablespoon amount of mixture into each case.
6. Add sprinkles to the top of each.
7. Leave for a few hours to set at room temperature or place in fridge.
